UPVC Spraying FAQs

How long does UPVC spraying last?

With the right preparation and premium paints, a sprayed UPVC finish will last 10+ years when cared for properly. It’s durable, weather-resistant, and designed to look fresh for years.

Will the spray paint peel or chip over time?

Not if it’s done professionally. We prepare each surface thoroughly (cleaning, sanding, priming), which ensures the paint bonds properly. Follow our aftercare advice (add link), and you won’t experience peeling or chipping.

What preparation is needed before spraying?

We handle all preparation, but we’ll ask you to send clear photos first. A full view of each item and close-ups of any marks or damage help us factor prep into the quote.

What colours can you choose for UPVC spraying?

Exterior and interior UPVC can be sprayed in any shade from the RAL colour chart. From classic anthracite greys to softer creams and bold blacks, there’s a huge range to choose from.

Can you spray both interior and exterior UPVC?

Yes. We spray both internal and external UPVC, including doors, windows, trims, and frames.

How much does UPVC spraying cost compared to replacement?

Spraying is a fraction of the cost. For example, a new front door might cost £1,000+, while spraying starts at £150. The transformation looks like new but saves you hundreds.

Does UPVC spraying work on all types of windows and doors?

Yes, it works on most standard UPVC windows, frames, and doors. Bay windows, conservatories, and larger frames may require a tailored quote.

How long does it take to spray a door/window/house?

  • Single door: under 2 hours

  • Standard window: 1 hour

Full house: typically 2 days depending on size and complexity

Is sprayed UPVC weather-resistant?

Yes. We only use paints designed for outdoor use, which resist UV fading, cracking, and peeling even in harsh weather.

Can UPVC spraying be done in winter or cold weather?

Yes, within reason. We avoid spraying in heavy rain or freezing conditions, but mild, dry days in winter are fine.

Do you offer a guarantee on UPVC spraying?

Yes. We stand by our workmanship and materials. We guarantee our work for 10 years.

How do I care for sprayed UPVC after the job?

It’s simple;

  • Wipe with mild soapy water, not harsh chemicals.

  • Avoid abrasive pads or brushes.

  • Follow our aftercare guide for best results.

Can you fix damage before spraying?

We can repair minor issues as part of our prep work, things like small scratches or light gaps. We’ll sand, smooth, and prime the surface so it’s ready for spraying.

However, we’re spray painters, not repairers. We can’t fix cracked or broken UPVC, melted plastic, or areas that are heavily damaged. In those cases, we’ll do our best to prepare the surface so the spray finish looks as good as possible, but some imperfections may remain visible.

Will spraying cause mess around my home?

No. We carefully mask and cover all surrounding areas. The only thing that gets sprayed is the UPVC itself.

Can you spray garage doors or conservatories?

Yes, these can be sprayed, but they will be quoted individually based on size and access.

How long does the paint take to fully cure?

Our specialist coatings are touch dry within a few hours, and your kitchen or UPVC can usually be used again the next day. However, it takes around 5–7 days for the paint to fully cure and reach maximum durability. During this time, we recommend treating the surfaces with care, avoid scrubbing, dragging items, or using harsh cleaners until the curing process is complete.

Kitchen Spraying FAQs

You can choose any shade, from Farrow & Ball, Dulux, Little Greene, or other brands. We can colour-match exactly at no extra cost.

How is kitchen spraying priced per door or whole kitchen?
